📋 What changed for IMU CET 2026?
IMU will conduct the exam in two shifts on 24 May 2026. Because different shifts may vary in difficulty, IMU will use Percentile Normalization — your final IMU-CET Score will be your percentile, not your raw marks. The highest scorer in each shift gets 100 percentile. This is similar to how JEE Main normalizes scores.

Where You Stand — Percentile Bands
How is the percentile estimate calculated?
We use a score-to-percentile mapping derived from IMU CET 2023–2025 result distributions (~60,000 candidates/year). A raw score of X is mapped to the percentile of candidates who historically scored at or below X. Since 2026 uses shift-wise normalization, the actual percentile may shift ±2–5 percentile points depending on your shift's difficulty level.
